TSF Partnership Football Scholarship

The TSF Partnership - Football Academy Football Scholarship Programme offered at Maltby Academy is a unique opportunity for talented 16–19-year old footballers, to secure a pathway into semi-professional football, whilst studying at a highy successful sixth form. The scholarship is an elite football development programme and ensures students access a first-class football experience, creating positive life-long memories and further their educational qualifications.
All players on the scholarship programme will undertake 3 A Levels and/or BTECs during the 2 years on the programme, with possible opportunities to acquire work-based qualifications such as the Introduction to Football Coaching and/or the FA Referee's Course. The students will access a high-quality football provision working with UEFA A and B coaches who have previously coached/played in the professional game.

All scholarship players have access to top class facilities in the Academy Sports Centre, supporting players to perform at the elite level. Video analysis is a massive part of our programme, reflecting on games and improving the tactical understanding of the players. Our outstanding facilities allow us to invest in the physical development of our players, maximising plyometric, activation and weight training exercises.

There are many different progression routes our scholars have taken following the completion of their scholarship programme. We have developed players who are now playing regular Evo-Stick or NCEL Football whilst continuing their education through University in the UK and in the US as part of an overseas scholarship programme. Others are now enjoying full-time employment drawing upon their experiences from the scholarship programme.

The Sixth Form Performing Arts Scholarship aims to deliver exceptional experiences, enabling all scholars to thrive in a competitive environment and lead successful and fulfilling lives.
The Performing Art Scholarship programme offered at The Sixth Form Partnership is a specialist 16-18 programme delivering opportunities and development to aspiring artists, performers, choreographers, writers, producers and technical operatives, all whilst studying at a highly successful Sixth Form.
All students on the scholarship programme undertake A-level and/or applied subjects during the course, with further possibilities to gain industry recognised qualifications.
Scholars will access a high level of quality provision within the Performing Arts sector working with individuals who are currently involved or have previously worked in their chosen areas of specialism. The Performing Arts Scholarship provides students with a fantastic opportunity to flourish and further develop their knowledge and skills in the Performing Arts Industry or progress onto further education at degree level in the Performing Arts sector.

The Dance Programme is designed to provide students with a practical and theoretical understanding of dance technique, education and industry.
Although it is a very practical course, there are elements of theory in all units. The Performing Arts Scholarship is for students who actively want to be a part of the performing arts industry and have an interest in dance as a potential career pathway.
The units and assignments in thePerforming Arts Scholarship are tailormade to guide students in gaining experience of the specific roles within the dance industry. The programme is a positive progression in preparation for higher education or a professional setting.

The Drama Programme is designed to provide students with a practical and theoretical understanding of drama theatre and the industry.
Although it is a very practical course, there are elements of theory that will deepen individuals dramatic understanding. The Performing Arts Scholarship is for students who actively want to be a part of the performing arts industry and have an interest in drama as a potential career pathway. The course covers a range of transferable skills such as teamwork, confidence, public speaking, time management and
empathy, which are vital for any career path. Drama scholars study and engage in the Drama enrichment workshops alongside other A-Level and/or applied subjects.
The Sixth Form Partnership esport Scholarship

e-Sports Enterprise Scholarship programme offered at Sixth Form is a specialist 16-18 programme delivering exceptional experiences in the digital, enterprise and e-Sports industries.
The scholarship is a development programme that ensures students access a first-class e-Sports experience, in addition to studying a range of first-class qualifications. Scholars access a high quality classroom based provision alongside training and guidance from industry professionals.
All students have the opportunity to combine a variety of Business, Information Technology and e-Sports qualifications, with further possibilities to participate in industry recognised experiences.
The programme involves game based training which provides players with a fantastic opportunity to further develop their skills across a number of different roles, games, and platforms.
